We are looking for a savvy enablement manager to guide and develop our financial solutions programs for the global revenue acceleration team. As the Capital Enablement Program Manager you will be expected to enable our merchant facing teams on our financial solutions products, with a focus on capital loans. Enablement will be conducted in live animated sessions, recorded videos, through Learning Management System (LMS) courses, and via written communication.
Working closely with our product, product marketing and sales leadership teams, you will create and iterate content that will help our merchant facing teams efficiently propose and demonstrate the value of our financial solutions products. You will draw on your experience with regulated products, to skillfully craft a sales narrative that will comply with financial regulations and reporting responsibilities. Your proven history of collaborating across teams and disciplines will help ensure you are successful in this role. You’ll use your love of helping others, sharing knowledge and breaking down complex concepts into ‘easy to understand’ narratives to help the teams learn and grow.
Responsibilities
Develop and lead the successful execution of product enablement programs to ensure internal merchant-facing teams are equipped with content, resources, tools and training to effectively differentiate and sell the Shopify Platform
Distill large amounts of information across disparate systems to create a cohesive view of the product positioning, value proposition, competitive intel and FAQs
Create engaging talk-tracks, address objection handling and develop assessments for Merchant Facing teams to test their knowledge
Develop enablement programs through various tools (e.g., LevelJump) to help reach the learner audience, along with facilitating and delivering high quality enablement sessions both live and recorded
Ensure alignment of product enablement activities with key internal and external events, such as new product releases, campaigns, and other enablement activities
Define and differentiate between product onboarding modules and results-driven continuous learning
Listen and identify coaching opportunities to ensure compliance with product positioning and industry standards
If required, coach trainees with sales conversations and sales processes
Collaborate with Product Marketing, Go to Market (GTM), craft enablement, and other teams to identify and develop core sales training and enablement curriculum, customized regionally as needed, for various internal and external audiences
Multi-task across simultaneous projects and deadlines, collaborating with appropriate team members
Measure and report on the effectiveness of programs conducted, and provide key stakeholders team learnings and feedback post-enablement programming
Determine opportunities for improving the product learning experience and identify innovative techniques for delivery, leveraging adult learning principles
Successfully accomplishes responsibilities with minimal direction or oversight
3 years experience in the lending industry
A passion for continuous learning
Exceptionally strong written and verbal communicator with a flair for presentation and facilitation for online training delivery
Demonstrated success working cross-functionally and driving cross-functional projects to completion
Demonstrated ability to create high quality content that improves the merchant experience, ideally in a financial services space or environment
Experience in sales, customer success, product marketing, consulting, partner or sales enablement
Ability to work independently and manage multiple initiatives while delivering under tight deadlines
Hard working with a "no task is too small" attitude.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment
A skilled enablement manager should be an expert storyteller and possess excellent knowledge of merchant trends and Shopify context
Proficiency in Google Suite
Nice to Haves
Project Management experience or certification
Experience with LevelJump, Continu or other LMS tools would be an asset
