Job Description

Your goal as an Account Manager is to promote HDI and ICMI training products and conference participation within contact centers, IT support, and service management functions. You will be focused on adding new logos, while simultaneously growing the existing footprint within current accounts.

This role is designed for someone who is comfortable being both a hunter/closer and a relationship builder. Together, these skills will be used daily to win new business, generate revenues, and expand key ICMI accounts. Key Performance Indicators include:

  • Number of calls made (50 per day) and meetings held (20 per week)
  • Adding new leads to the pipeline from individual prospecting, outside events, or webinars
  • Maintain pipeline accuracy and forecasting
  • Quarterly and annual revenue goals
  • Converting inbound leads into paying customers

Qualifications

  • 2 to 4 years of inside sales or business development experience
  • Experience selling training, eLearning, conference attendance
  • A hunter mentality - always looking for new ways to generate revenue from new logos or existing accounts
  • The ability to research/analyze/qualify suspects and prospects
  • The ability to assess a client’s need and present solutions
  • Proficiency with a CRM, and/or other sales tools
  • Bachelor's degree
