Job Description

The Senior Talent Acquisition Associate will contribute as a key member of the People and Culture Team and overall organization by proactively sourcing, attracting and hiring talent for teams across the organization. You will bring expertise and market knowledge, staying on top of trends, market changes, and talent competitors, while delivering an excellent candidate experience through the engagement and connection of diverse talent pools.

Essential Functions: In addition to working in accordance with appropriate conduct and behavioral standards, specific responsibilities of this role include:

  • Serve as a strategic recruiter and talent advisor by owning the full life cycle recruitment process for six or more open positions across the company
  • Create and follow a sourcing plan for each role
  • Build relationships with hiring managers and provide recruitment counsel, guidance, and training
  • Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to understand the needs of the team and expectations of the position
  • Source, interview, and present candidates in accordance with labor laws and company guidelines, with a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • Contribute to a positive candidate experience by interacting with candidates in a professional and empathetic manner
  • Assist with formulating offers for candidates in accordance with company budget guidelines and fair pay standards
  • Support the company’s internal and external hiring process standards
  • Pipeline talent by networking with potential candidates through universities, community groups, social media or other sources
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of Nextech’s business functions and culture
  • Provide weekly updates on recruiting activity within the People and Culture team and to hiring managers
  • Assist with various Employer/Employee Branding initiatives
  • Partner with People and Culture teammates to onboard new hires
  • Carry out additional project related and administrative responsibilities as assigned

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5+ years of full cycle in-house corporate recruiting experience working directly with hiring managers
  • Ability to cultivate meaningful relationships quickly
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with strong influencing capabilities
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work successfully in a changing environment with shifting priorities
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for talent acquisition
  • Experience with compensation negotiation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working within one or more ATS systems
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience recruiting for technical roles (e.g. Software Engineers, Product Managers)

Qualifications

Working Environment:

  • General office environment: Works generally at a desk in a well-lighted, air-conditioned cubicle/office, with moderate noise levels.

Physical Demands:

  • Activities require a significant amount of sitting at office and work desks and in front of a computer monitor.
  • Some walking and standing relative to interaction with other personnel.
