Facilitation Manager

We are a boutique consulting firm focused on blending the art of innovative, creative thinking and design with the science of strategic planning and measurement to help our clients implement events that deliver business impact and audience delight. We provide event strategy, program design/management, speaker strategy/management, measurement consulting and facilitation services to Fortune 500 executive teams.

As a key member of our strategy team, you’ll be working directly with clients to develop instructional workshops, facilitated sessions and other activities that support and strengthen strategy, maximize growth and elevate team performance. You’ll feel right at home leveraging your facilitation and project management skills to shepherd multiple simultaneous projects from proposal to delivery. Combining your corporate training and arbitration experience with your ability to collaborate with Fortune 500 senior executives, you will provide project direction and management for impactful facilitation. Spend your days:

• Developing and facilitating multiple workshops, meetings and strategy sessions while nurturing relationships with your client stakeholders
• Providing advisory support to Fortune 500 clients to solve problems, maximize growth, and elevate team performance
• Collaborating with your team to create exercises and workshops that drive toward client goals
• Managing the timelines and deliverables for all projects
• Researching and synthesizing information to develop strategic insights on clients’ challenges
• Contributing to the creation of new curriculum, facilitation and advisory frameworks
• Collaborating with the business development team to support proposals for High Performance Teaming and facilitation
• Developing the IPG Facilitation Team by building and nurturing a bench of contractor and W-2 facilitators to staff a demanding workshop and facilitation schedule
• Collaborating with the leadership and operations teams to build, refine and implement internal team development initiatives
• Fostering a culture of lifelong learning and continuous improvement

Show us your:

• Undergraduate degree and a minimum 7 years of experience in corporate training, mediation or arbitration with demonstrated success within F500
• Certification in a modern facilitation methodology – ToP, CFM, Leadership Strategies
• Proven track record of delivering on multiple critical projects with a bunch of moving parts, people and locations—resourceful project manager with a focus on outcomes
• Well-developed analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to translate the big picture into a digestible detailed plan of action
• Executive presence with exceptional personal, written and presentation skills and comfort collaborating and supporting senior-level executives—respectfully assertive, thoughtful and resourceful
• Understanding and passion for improved DEI metrics and collaborative, supportive workplaces
• Working knowledge of corporate marketing and events—experiential design, measurement and impact reporting experience a plus
• Highly proficient with MS Office, Google Workspace and project management software—we use Asana
• Confidence to tackle challenges and difficult conversations head-on
• Availability for about 20% travel to client sites
