Job Description

What you get to do in this role:

In this role you will interact with business system analysts and application developers to understand system requirements, and use your automation and functional testing skills to ensure delivery of business critical cloud applications/solutions with highest quality and minimal downtime.

· Manage individuals on the TACO Quality Assurance team.

· Define testing strategies and plans

· Interact with managers and stakeholders to support initiatives across multiple projects

· Participate in scrum teams to define and refine unit, integration testing, and performance benchmarking/testing

· Create, execute and maintain scripts and tools for various testing frameworks.

· Drive test automation to ensure repeatable tests are always automated and continue to look for opportunities to further reduce the test cycle time during the release.

· Implement, collect, analyze and report team and project metrics which demonstrate business value and show continuous improvement

· Enhance the existing test automation framework with latest capabilities.

 

Qualifications

In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has:

· Management experience is a plus

· BS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent domain with cloud applications experience

· Excellent communication skills.

· Experience in ServiceNow platform

· Strong understanding of QA methodologies and practices.

· Proven ability to communicate cross-functionally, and to seek out information when required

· Flexibility and ability to adapt to rapidly changing requirements.

· Experience working with wide variety of automated testing tools including Selenium and SpecFlow, Programming Language – C#/ Dot Net and Java, Unit Test Framework – MSTest/ NUnit and TestNG/ Junit and other open source tools

· Setting up automated test framework’s with different tools/ enhancing existing framework

· Experience working with SCM tools like Git/ SVN

· Experience in Rest Api automation tools like – Rest Assured/ Http Client

· Experience working with build tools like – NUnit, Maven/ Gradle

· Experience in scripting language like JavaScript

· Experience working in Agile Practices (SAFE, Scrum)
