Our UK headquarters is based in Worcester where all the main functions of the business are located including the manufacturing of gas boilers. We have a further site in Clay Cross Derbyshire where our oil boilers are manufactured. 

 

Job Description

OVERALL PURPOSE: As Worcester Bosch leads the change to low carbon greener heating, our market over the next 5-10 years will be very different to the present day. As we continue to prepare for the future, this role aims to deliver engaging and effective B2B marketing tools and campaigns which promotes us as a future technology provider. 

This is to be achieved by:

  • Helping to establish the brand as the “go to” partner for heat pumps across all UK and Ireland key customer types; installer, merchant, local authority, housing association and new build. 
  • To support the wider business in communicating to key influential external stakeholders, such as the government and leading industry bodies, regarding hydrogen boilers as a solution to the UK’s net zero carbon target
  • To promote the benefits as well as the latest developments within our future technology portfolio.

SCOPE OF ROLE: Plan, develop, implement and communicate all B2B activity.  Implement the short, medium and long term strategy in supporting our audience in understanding future technology products, and the considerations around retrofit installations. Help New Build developers’ transition to upcoming legislation changes.

5 KEY DELIVERABLES:

1. Establish recent and upcoming product launches in line with core business objectives & KPIs

2. To effectively create a digital pull through strategy and marketing funnel that connects homeowners interested in heat pumps with the appropriate installers

3. To grow the number of F-Gas and MCS installers associated with the brand

4. Assist in supporting all B2B customers to understand what product is most suitable for their bespoke requirements, while assisting them in transitioning to heat pumps and hydrogen and any other future technologies

5. Support & motivate stakeholders across the business to deliver the above objectives.

 

ADDITIONAL TASKS / RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Development, enforcement and implementation of brand guidelines to ensure consistent visual appearance, tone of voice and brand positioning across multiple channels.
  • Implementation of on & offline advertising plan to support product launches, campaigns, promotions and marketing communication initiatives.
  • Support the creation of branded content for all digital marketing platforms. E.g. online copy, imagery, video, advertising campaigns.
  • Development and creation of suitable printed sales materials e.g. brochures, leaflets, P.O.S. to support changing product and customer requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver briefings for external marketing and creative agencies. Act as the main contact for these agencies where appropriate.
  • Adhere to all internal Bosch guidelines, standards and process in relation to the above activities.

Qualifications

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • A confident communicator with excellent written, spelling and grammar skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects; seeing them through from concept to realisation in a timely fashion. Operates flexibly according to changing business requirements and priorities.
  • Comfortable with detail and ensures work is produced to a high standard, is thorough in planning, monitoring and regularly checking adherence to guidelines.
  • A self-motivated team player. Participates fully within the sales and marketing teams and contributes to wider team effort. Is co-operative and works collaboratively with others across the business to achieve objectives. Good interpersonal skills.
  • Very good planning and administrative skills. Sets priorities, develops clear goals and timetables to achieve maximum productivity.
  • Proactively works to resolve problems independently, but is comfortable seeking help when required. Has ability to build a wide support network across business.
  • Has a “customer first” attitude and is prepared to go the extra mile.  Seeks to improve customer experience whilst enhancing brand reputation.
  • Is naturally creative with the ability to look at what companies inside and outside our industry are doing and how we can replicate or avoid such ideas ourselves.

Additional Information

Flexible approach to working hours and some national / international travel required.
