Senior C++ Engineer

Our team both research, implement and commercialise intelligent software across the AI spectrum with a specific focus on Deep Learning in Computer Vision and 'AI on the Edge'.

We work with major companies and innovative start-ups across many industries including Automotive, Defence, Medical, Technology and Telecoms.

We are looking for an embedded  C++ Developer with interest in AI responsible for design and development of applications that may range from high-end desktop applications to native mobile applications and embedded systems. Your responsibilities will also include coordination with the internal stakeholders, communicating with rest of the team and often with Digica's customers.

• Proficiency and broad experience in programming in Python
• Fluency in Git and SQL
• Experience in Continuous Integration and code review
• Working knowledge of GNU Linux
• Basic knowledge of REST, HTML, and JSON
• Basic knowledge of Machine Learning algorithms such as Neural Networks (dense, CNN, RNN), decision trees etc.
• Basic knowledge of statistics (distributions, statistical testing, regression etc.)
• Understanding what DevOps is about with some experience in this approach
• Experience in other programming languages will be an asset e.g. R, Java, C/C++
• Fluency in English - the majority of our customers do not speak Polish 

Description
This role is a hands-on software engineering work, where the majority of time is spent on development of code that acquires big sets of data, transforms, normalises and prepares them for the latter modelling by our Data Scientists. This role requires knowledge of the latest technologies, but also an internal drive for designing systems, tuning, troubleshooting and scaling them using latest cutting-edge technologies.

Education
Ph.D. or Masters in Computer Science, Applied Physics, Maths or equivalent professional experience.
