C# Web Developer

Our team both research, implement and commercialise intelligent software across the AI spectrum with a specific focus on Deep Learning in Computer Vision and 'AI on the Edge'.

We work with major companies and innovative start-ups across many industries including Automotive, Defence, Medical, Technology and Telecoms.

• developing and maintaining features in Web applications based on visual mockups and UX descriptions,
• writing automated tests,
• delivering high-quality code, which is both functional and performant,
• SOLID understanding of best practices, processes and design patterns in software development,
• contributing to the infrastructure that the team leverages for development,
• code reviewing.

• minimum 2 years’ experience as Web Developer,
• advanced understanding of C# .NET 
• general awareness of web application performance best practices,
• experience with one or more frameworks (Ember, Angular, Backbone, React),
• experience with AWS or Azure
• experience with modern portal/CMS solutions (Umbraco preferred)
• knowledge of CSS frameworks (for example Bootstrap / Compass),
• knowledge of Web Components,
• strong interest in testing, review and code quality.

Description
This role is hands-on software engineering work, where the majority of time is spent on development of Web interfaces to various systems. This role requires knowledge of the latest technologies, but also an internal drive for designing systems, tuning, troubleshooting and scaling them using latest cutting-edge technologies. If you are a self-starter, able to learn new technology quickly and happy to work on a broad range of technologies - this is a job for you. 

Education
Degree in Computer Science, Applied Physics, Maths or relevant professional experience.
