What is it all about?

The Business Unit Manager ensures that all operations of the Business Unit run smoothly in order to reach strategic goals and to maximise the results of the entire company through cooperation with other Business Unit Managers and competence centers. The job includes, but is not limited to:

  • Setting the Business Unit winning strategy through analyzing and exploring market trends, identifying opportunities, and cooperating with stakeholders
  • Bringing product to the market - coordinating the product development process and aligning it with sales, marketing, and the finance roadmap
  • Building an effective goal-oriented team which requires recruiting, training, and developing employees dedicated to the Business Unit
  • Integrating policies and procedures of the company in business unit operations and allocating resources to achieve specific business results

Kwalifikacje

  • Previous experience in running small to middle ventures in the role of CEO, COO, Business Manager, Operations Manager, or similar is a must
  • Strong in both IT & sales background and a customer-centric view is required
  • Experience in scaling up a business (not necessary in the IT field) would be an asset
  • Proven track record of excellent project execution
  • Strong analytical skills to review data, benchmark, identify trends and patterns, and make thoughtful recommendations
  • Excellent collaboration skills with both internal and external stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams to achieve above-average business efficiency 
  • Strong communication skills, charisma, and ownership are the keys to succeed as a Business Unit Manager
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, engineering, or equivalent would be a strong plus, but we are mostly interested in your work experience
