Job Description

We are currently seeking a Software Engineer / Architect for Automotive Infotainment systems. This position requires an experienced professional with a background in development on Linux, Android or RTOS systems in an ASPICE environment.

The areas of development include infotainment systems, cluster instruments, high performance computers and domain controllers, navigation systems and cloud based services in various environments.

Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields,  possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.

Depending on the level of candidate experience as well as individual preferences, we can offer the following roles:

  • System Architect
  • Software Architect
  • Software Developer

Typical tasks list includes, but is not limited to:

  • Design and develop software for the Infotainment system 
  • Provide design, development, and debug support for integrating individual functions into the control unit
  • Ensure optimization of software through design reviews and code reviews
  • Develop a design and/or product validation test program to ensure robustness of design
  • Integrate with different teams such to realize the project

Qualifications

The candidate should fulfill both the Generic Qualifications and at least one of the Domain Qualifications.

Generic qualification requirements:

  • Degree in electrical engineering, computer science or related fields
  • Strong proficiency in C++ and object oriented design
  • Strong understanding of inter-process communication
  • Strong understanding of Linux OS Fundamentals and IPC Mechanisms
  • Experience in ASPICE (SYS.3, SWE.1, SWE.2, SWE.3 and SWE.4)
  • Experience with scripting languages/tools and methods to optimize SW development and testing activities.
  • Good grasp of product development process within Automotive
  • Good knowledge of automotive communication protocols, for example CAN, LIN, Ethernet
