Senior Solutions Engineer

Insightsoftware is seeking a Solutions Engineer reporting to the Director of Solutions Engineering - EMEA. This position will handle product demonstrations, pre-sales support and partner enablement for our Channel and Publisher Partners. 

The right candidate has strong executive presence and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The candidate will ideally have a solid technical understanding of multiple Enterprise Resource Management (ERP) systems and be able to speak to and understand financial reporting challenges faced by companies of all sizes and scope today. Candidate will have an ability to write SQL based queries and reports and have advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

• Use knowledge of Reporting solutions to assess prospect requirements
• Work with Channel Managers internally (Sales) and externally (Partner) to articulate how insightsoftware solutions solve specific business problems
• Deliver online and in person product demonstrations
• Travel and to present on-site demonstrations
• Proof of Concept installations and product training as part of sales the process and partner relationship
• Assist clients and partners in installing and deploying insightsoftware solutions when needed
• Build relationships to become a trusted solution advisor

Technical Skills

• Understand financial and month-end reporting requirements
• Understand financial consolidation processes
• Understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning from a functional perspective
• Familiarity with advanced Excel capabilities and functions
• Previous experience with the insightsoftware suite of products
• Ability to write SQL based queries and reports

• Strong written and oral communication skills in German and English 
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment and be able to communicate effectively with co-workers and customers who have varying levels of functional and technical expertise
