Job Description

You’ll join Budgetly as our first Account Manager as part of the Growth team. Reporting into VP of Growth you’ll help us establish our processes, iterating and learning as we scale. The role helps new customers in getting their business optimally set up on the platform, trained on its use, and ensures their journey to upgrade to the best package for them is as easy and simple as possible. As we grow this role will have the opportunity to grow into a Team Lead role and build the Account Management team. 

Some of the main responsibilities you’ll have:

  • Manage post-sales process for customers using strong product knowledge, relationship-building, and project management skills
  • Act as a trusted advisor for new customers by guiding them through the implementation and adoption of the product 
  • Provide customer training through the onboarding process and maintain training documentation 
  • Take ownership of a portfolio of existing clients, and successfully upsell, cross-sell and expand the business in your portfolio
  • Work across a large number of accounts and prioritise where opportunities exist
  • Collaborate with the Account Executives (Sales) during the customer’s transition to the post-sales team

Qualifications

  • Experience in an Account Management role, ideally in a similar SaaS or technology business
  • Experience using a CRM to manage the onboarding/implementation process, ideally Hubspot
  • Can demonstrate a track record in managing sales pipelines and delivering predictable results
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas in ways that are easy to understand 
  • Empathic, emotionally intelligent, and driven to provide an outstanding customer experience
  • Strong project management skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise, and manage time effectively and independently 
  • Proactive, driven, and self-motivated, able to embrace change in a fast paced evolving environment
