Senior Product Designer

Come work with Azibo as a Senior Product Designer.  We’re looking for a passionate product designer who has proven they have the core product design skills through demonstrated work, knows how to frame a challenge and solve problems for customers and the foundational design skills needed to deliver amazing experiences into the market to empower users. This person is self-directed and can lead others, but also knows the value of teamwork to creatively solve problems together with multi-disciplinary teams. 

Responsibilities

• Experience collaborating and delivering solutions with engineering, product management and the design team
• Ability to lead design projects through the product development lifecycle—from initial ideation, definition, decisoning and through to release
• Will collaborate with broader design team to share feedback and elevate overall product quality
• You have visual design experience delivering design systems, style guides and/or have developed pattern libraries
• Mentor and support design team members
• Apply strategic thinking to design and deliver innovative user experiences that optimize customer needs, business goals, and technological across delivery channels
• Collaborate with broader team of designers, product managers, development and other team members to identify insights, test hypotheses and refine design decisions
• Apply usability best practices, standards-compliant design with user tested data
• Come up with the optimal creative solutions achieved within timeline and scope.

• Degree in Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction Design, or other relevant field is preferred, or equivalent work experience
• 6+ years of experience in product design, or related field
• Strong knowledge and practical experience with applying user-centered design processes while working collaboratively with a team
• You can frame a problem and define the experience, all the while leading others to the optimal solution for customers
• Have experience developing design processes and approaches to gathering insights, iterating and executing 
• Comfortable presenting, leading a conversation and negotiating outcomes with team members from all disciplines
• You are self-directed, organized and prioritize work in a timely manner 
• Experience with using data to inform design decisions
• A portfolio that demonstrates the above and easily available for viewing
