RN Director, Health Services

The health services registered nurse director monitors and provides resources and coverage supervision to all nursing personnel when duty, ensures all services comply with policies and licensure requirements, and promotes quality health care to the individuals served.  This position may assist in training and orientation of staff as well as providing direct skilled nursing services. 

The health services registered nurse director is authorized to provide nursing services as part of the service delivery team for person served and is responsible to assure all persons served receive quality health care services. When necessary, the health services registered nurse will perform specifically delegated medical and nursing actions.  This position may act as a resource to directors, supervisors, and program nursing staff regarding medical issues, rules, and regulations that govern medical care in the programs. This position will also deliver skilled nursing services to people served. Must be willing to travel locally to our various group homes when needed (mileage paid for) This is a Monday - Friday position - No On-call and no weekends!!

• Prior experience  working as an RN, preferred exp. In long term care or disability services. RN license must be current and in good standing with the state of Minnesota
• 2 years’ experience working development and maintenance of nursing curriculum and policies
• Previous RN leadership experience
• Completion and clearance of background study, completed through the MN Department of Human Services
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Current auto liability insurance
