As the Staff Engineer,  you will work with cross-functional teams (Design, Device, CAD) to develop and design 3D NAND flash memory layout. Work with team of members consisting of three sites (US/India/Japan) to provide complex CORE/PERI blocks in a high quality layout as well as meeting schedule.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Chip partition Blocks/Modules layout activity (floor-planning / block integration / verification)
• Lead STD / Leaf cell development with team
• Lead TEG project with design and device team
• Interface with design, device and CAD team for various requirements
• Communicate effectively across functional groups
• Good understanding design rules

REQUIRED:

• 8-10 years experience in analog/custom layout (experience in memory layout design is desirable however not mandatory)
• Must have strong skills in layout and floor planning skills and manual routing.
• Experience with Cadence or Mentor Graphics layout tools
• Expertise in Cadence XL/GXL (experience in P&R layout is desirable however not mandatory)

SKILLS:

• High level of proficiency in interpretation of CALIBRE DRC, LVS, ANTENNA, XOR, Latch-up, Density, Litho Check
• Programming knowledge in SKILL, Perl, and Awk
• Independent with strong analytical skills, creative thinking and self-motivated
