The Vice President of Operations (VPO) is a member of our executive team. They handle the day-to-day administration and operation of our business. The Vice President of Operations has overall supervisory responsibility for all of the entity's operations.

The VPO position is tasked with providing leadership, management, and vision to ensure that the business has effective people, operational controls, and administrative and reporting procedures in place. The VPO must help effectively grow the company and ensure its financial strength and operating efficiency.

The VPO shall accomplish some or all of the following tasks or objectives:

Business operations for production, marketing and sales, and research and development. The VPO's job is to be internally focused.

To be considered for the VPO position, the right candidate needs the correct combination of education and significant experience.

• Education: The minimum educational requirement is a bachelor’s degree in business or a related subject, but we prefer to hire someone with an MBA.
• Experience: Must possess extensive experience within the government contracting arena. Must possess at least 15 years of business management experience, with at least five of those years spent in a senior management role.
• Education requirement can be satisfied with additional experience.

• Communication: Must possess executive-level communication and influencing skills with the ability to resolve issues, build consensus among groups of diverse internal/external stakeholders, and have proven skill in negotiating and mediating conflict
