Under direction of the Director of Laboratories, this position is responsible for providing the blend of analytical and technical understanding and expertise necessary to support the implementation, development, maintenance and functionality of Department of Pathology Information Systems currently (Cerner, CoPath, Meditech) and related interfaces. Provides training and written procedures for users of the LIS, currently Clinical Lab Support, Chemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Molecular Pathology, Surgical Pathology, Histology and Cytology. Provides high-level data access and reporting from these systems.
