We would like to invite you to join a development team that mostly focus on plugins for Kubernetes to integrate features provided by the hardware of our Customer.

In our team you may find following tasks:

• Enabling HW feature in the Kubernetes environment including writing Kubernetes operators
• Performance/optimization of the code up streamed to the Kubernetes community
• Create benchmarking on the top-level hardware, perform analysis in order to propose optimizations in the code
• Implementing validation/integration scripts
• Working on continuous integration pipelines with writing scripts, optimization and testing on different platforms incl. drivers, kernels, firmware
• Cooperation with the Kubernetes Community

But this is not limited to them as we are open for new work connected to optimization of network processing. In our team you will work in Scrum team which deliver features agreed with our customer, but Mobica's PM would be your direct superior.

Must-Have Skills

• Practical experience with at least one compiled language (Go (strongly preferred), C, C++, etc.)
• Intermediate Linux experience (user-space programmer, scripting)
• Intermediate understanding of networking from developer's perspective (common elements of the internet protocol suite)
• Upper-Intermediate English language skills (B2)
• Practical knowledge of Kubernetes

Nice to have:

• Openness to new things and change in project scope
• Practical software debugging experience
• Experience in writing Kubernetes operators
• Experience with Calico
• Experience with VPP
