Job Description

The IAM Engineer will work within the Identity Access and Collaboration team. This team defines and manages all technology and processes related to the identity lifecycle, logins, password management and access management.

The IAM Engineer is responsible for configuration and maintenance and upgrades of several Microsoft Active Directory forests. In addition to the on-premise AD environment, the IAM engineer will also be responsible for management, maintenance and upgrades of IAM technologies such as Azure AD, Azure AD Connect, MFA, Conditional Access, SSO app integration, SCIM, Quest Change Auditor, and Microsoft Identity Manager. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Participate in the development and implementation of governance plans, security and compliance controls, support SLAs and perform development tasks.
  • Perform project work such as new technology adoption, migration and upgrade of legacy technology

  • Implements, maintains, upgrades and troubleshoots Microsoft-based Identity and Access Technologies 

  • Maintains close alignment with peers within the organization, particularly within the Identity and Collaboration team  

  • Supports Service Desk operations 

  • Provides technical support and guidance for internal customers 

Qualifications

  • Understands fundamentals of Identity and Access Management best practices and related security concepts 
  • Experience implementing and managing all current (2008 R2 and newer) Active Directory technologies including ADDS, ADMT, ADDNS, GPO, Sites and Services. 
  • Experience configuring, managing and troubleshooting the Microsoft Azure AD environment including claims based authentication, conditional access, Azure AD Connect, Password management. 
  • Strong skills writing moderately complex Powershell Scripts to enable automation in the Microsoft environment  
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Identity Manager and Quest tools such as Change Auditor, Reporter and Migration Manager
