Job Description

Are you a passionate DevOps Engineer with deep technical know-how and hands-on experience implementing various practices and tools in the DevOps toolchain Are you interested in promoting the DevOps culture in our client organizations. Qualifications

What excites us:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience designing and implementing continuous delivery and/or DevOps solutions or architecture patterns

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with code repository management, code merge and quality checks, continuous integration, and automated deployment and management using tools like Jenkins, Git, Puppet, Chef, and Docker

  • Minimum 1 year of experience with Kubernetes

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with approaches and tooling for automated build, delivery, and release of the software.

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working in an Agile delivery environment

  • Experience owning infrastructure in production, as well as designing and creating build/deploy & monitoring systems

  • Familiarity with managing cloud environments - AWS or other public cloud experience (Azure, Compute, Rackspace Cloud, etc)

You will:

  • Be the technology counterpart to the CTO from a new product development point of view.

  • Focus on building solutions utilizing an agile approach: close relationships with Product Managers, communicating and digesting real-time feedback, and working smart to build story cards on a daily basis

  • Facilitating the development process and operations.

  • Identifying setbacks and shortcomings.

  • Creating suitable DevOps channels across the organization.

  • Establishing continuous build environments to speed up software development.

  • Designing efficient practices.

  • Delivering comprehensive best practices.

  • Managing and reviewing technical operations.

  • Guiding the development team.

 

You may be fit for this role if you:

  • Extensive experience in financial technology and building or integrating financial solutions and software development kits for financial institutions

  • Experience working with bank core processors like Fiserv, FIS, Plaid, Jack Henry or Marqueta

  • Broad knowledge of banking & financial sector from a solution's design & API platform point of view

  • Experience in full-stack development and software architecture patterns, able to understand how a wide variety of technologies and systems interact with each other

  • Great communication skills, comfortable explaining complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

  • Interest in solving open-ended business problems with a combination of technology and creative thinking

  • Expertise in API Platforms/Gateways

  • Deep experience in systems design, with a background building and deploying complex applications

  • Have previous experience working within a fast-paced, startup environment

  • Deep knowledge of AWS infrastructure (i.e. DynamoDB, S3, Nginx, CloudWatch), Linux batch commands, ELK stack, and container orchestration (i.e. K8s, Docker) 

  • Working experience with Terraform on cluster provision

  • Kubernetes cluster monitoring, alerting, and logging experience

  • Hands-on experience in Jenkins, Ansible, and Git repositories

  • Ability to monitor, debug and automate routine tasks

  • Familiar with cloud infrastructure technologies and cloud-based test automation solution

  • Willing to learn, be proactive, and think creatively
