About the business and the role
Fermentis is the Business Unit of the Lesaffre Group in charge of developing, marketing and selling yeasts, their derivatives and fermentation solutions for the beverage industry. Fermentis therefore relies upon its talented experts, a visionary R&D program, an industrial expertise which meets the highest standards and a strong/coherent sales, marketing and communication strategy.
Its mission? Become the obvious choice for brewers, spirit producers, winemakers and all producers of fermented beverages, helping them express their inventiveness and creativity.
Job tasks and responsibilities
You will play a lead role in developing sales in north region of China. Together with our distribution network you will manage commercial activity and trials with customers.
You will interact with your international colleagues regularly to ensure commercial, technical and marketing support is provided to the market.
A minimum of three years' experience preferentially in the brewing or distilling (or a combination!) is required so that you have the industry credibility and networks. A capacity to manage multiple projects whilst preparing and delivering presentations means you are highly organized. A creative mindset will enable you to develop innovative solutions for new beverage types, production processes, etc.
Strong academic credentials are essential. A relevant science-based degree is required. A bachelor's degree combined with further studies to Masters or IBD qualifications in brewing and related disciplines would be highly regarded.
