Job Description

The Associate, Paid Search role is responsible for managing the delivery of paid search performance, campaign strategies and analysis, and execution of paid search campaigns, ensuring that all paid search tasks are delivered to the client on time and are of the highest quality.  

This role’s responsibilities include campaign builds, keyword development, ad copy creation, selection of landing pages, bulk sheet management and optimization of bids and budget allocation based on both performance and client budget.

This position plays an integral role in delivering on client expectations and managing tactical elements accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all tactical execution of Paid Search campaigns, including but not limited to: account setup, keywords selection and expansion, audience segmentation, negative keyword governance, website and category exclusions, ad creative (including writing and testing ad copy and ad extensions), landing page revisions
  • Acts as a point of paid search contact for the clients and is responsive to all client requests and inquiries related to Paid Search execution
  • Participates in client facing day-to-day communication with client contact for all things Paid Search, including advising best practices, building joint presentations,  and collaborating with client and larger iProspect team on strategic growth plans
  • Tracks and reports on campaign results, data analysis and participate in weekly calls
  • Demonstrates intellectual curiosity, the ability to work autonomously while simultaneously collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Build trust and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors and partner agencies
  • Understands clients' brands, structure, industry, and business challenges
  • Ensures deliverables are met on time and on budget
  • Effectively prioritize efforts based on client goals and objectives  in collaboration with the larger  team
  • Understand iProspect vision and values
  • Work collaboratively to execute clients' strategic plans and provide best in class marketing solutions

Qualifications

 

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, drive hard to completion, and deliver effective results
  • Thorough attention to detail & ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal 
  • Strong time-management skills and ability to prioritize workload
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving, dynamic environment
  • Eager and willing to learn new technologies and tools
  • Aptitude in data analysis and strong Excel skills
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to identify trends and insights through data analysis

Requirements:

  • 0-1 years of experience in managing paid search campaigns
  • Demonstrated decision making and independent judgment
  • Ability to work autonomously with high levels of integrity and self-motivation
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Basic understanding of Paid Search campaign management and search engine platforms preferred
  • Basic understanding of integrated digital performance marketing i.e. such as Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Social Media Management and Display Marketing
  • Google Certification (Fundamentals), Analytics and AdWords Certification a plus

Additional Information

Please note that while this role is primarily located in our NYC office, it can be remote from any US city. Preference to work CST or EST hours. All of our employees are currently working 100% remotely as a result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, and will continue to do so until we are safely able to return to the office.
