Our information security team is responsible for enabling the secure development and delivery of applications, services, and business processes which empower school systems to accelerate learning for all. As a member of this team, you'll be at the center of information security operations spanning multiple data centers, cloud platforms, and business units. You'll collaborate with product teams, information technology teams, operations teams, and your teammates to take ideas from concept to reality, utilizing your full range of technical, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
In this role, you will:
Manage and configure tools to monitor activity on networks, cloud platforms, and systems
Monitor, evaluate, and action alerts from security systems
Assess technical controls and identify areas of improvement
Analyze reports and raw data to identify unusual or anomalous behavior
Work, coordinate, and collaborate with a globally distributed team
Assist in maintaining standard operational procedure
Assess risk associated with information systems and cloud platforms
Evaluate and apply threat intelligence
Implement best practices and standards in information security, cloud operations, and systems provisioning
Effectively communicate up, down, and across the organization
For this role, you must have:
Formal information security, network security, secure development, compliance, or data science training
Strong ability to apply key information security concepts and frameworks to business and technical problems as part of a larger risk management process
Experience with information security best practices, tools, techniques, and frameworks.
Experience evaluating, prioritizing, and fulfilling operational requests at high levels of quality and efficiency
Bonus points for:
Undergraduate or graduate degree in IT related field
Information security certifications such as Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
Experience with automation and infrastructure as code
Experience in cybersecurity incident response

Salary Range - $79,800 - $120,000 This range is based on national market data and may vary by location.
