We are currently seeking SAP Ariba Consultant for our Ottawa, ON Canada location.

Position Description (scope of work or brief narrative): 
Job Description
•As an Ariba Consultant / SAP Ariba Cloud On-Demand Sourcing and Procurement professional, you will design, implement, and deploy SAP Ariba-based supplier relationship management and procurement solutions (technology solutions that manage the methods and processes of modern corporate or institutional buying). 
•Implements the following Ariba Modules: Strategic Sourcing, Contract Management and Procure-to-Pay.
•Provides second- and third-level technical support to the client’s Buyers and Suppliers.
•Attends team and client meetings and provides status reporting.
•Responsible for risk and issue resolution management.
•Provides information to determine future-state business process, configurations, etc.
•Coordinates activities between vendors and the client for functional and technical solution delivery.
•Ability to lead business process design workshops/discussions.
•Manages defect and change request escalations and resolutions.
•Tests and verifies monthly software release deployments.

Required years of experience, training, technical skills, and other requirements for job performance:
•Minimum of 4+ years’ experience and knowledge of SAP Ariba Cloud On-Demand.
•Proficient level of experience with SAP Ariba Network (now known as SAP Business Network).
•Proficient level of experience and knowledge of SAP Ariba Procure-to-Pay, Spend Visibility, Sourcing and Contract Management, and Supplier Information and Performance Management.
•Experience working with large IT ERP programs/applications would be considered an asset.
•Adapts existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems.
•Understands the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals.
•Determines methods and procedures on new assignments with guidance.
•Ability to work in an open, collaborative team environment.
•Effective verbal and non-verbal communication with peers and clients.
•Must have or be able to qualify for a Government of Canada security clearance (minimum Reliability level).

Education Qualification:
•Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
•Minimum of 4+ years’ professional experience working with SAP Ariba Cloud On-Demand solutions.
•Ariba training and certification would be considered an asset.
