Job Description

Mirantis is adding an HR Manager - EMEA to our team!  The role is to partner strategically and proactively with our business groups located across the European Union region, working as part of a Global Human Resources team. The role is responsible for translating business objectives into effective and reasonable organizational solutions and outcomes, and to assist in the alignment of the organization towards the business’ strategy plan.

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Partner with HR Head to develop, assess, facilitate and / or lead organizational development initiatives, programs and processes to support Mirantis’ business objectives and strategy implementation.
  • Work closely with the HR head and executive management to provide proactive and strategic consultation to both employees and managers, identifying, addressing and resolving the root causes of human resource issues systematically, main point of contact for HR related questions from the employees in the EMEA region.
  • Function as the site generalist and subject matter expert for a variety of Human Resource activities as needed. Facilitate and participate in company-wide programs and initiatives e.g., performance reviews, workforce planning, and organizational changes initiatives.
  • The main point of contact for HR-related questions from the employees in the EMEA region.
  • Be the point of contact for benefits, leaves, employee relations issues, etc. Partner with AP on payroll coordination, benefits enrollment, LOA, & employee demographic changes.
  • Provide proactive support and trusted advice to employees and managers on questions about HR procedures, employment law, employee relations and performance management.
  • Build strong relationships with employees and managers to collaborate on initiatives to enhance the employee experience.
  • Payroll support and coordination for EMEA.
  • Cooperation with external payroll offices, vendors, benefit providers, legal advisors, consultants and relocation companies, insurers.
  • Updating internal regulations, policies, and workflows where needed
  • Relocations support and keeping track of the immigration statuses and immigration documents in EMEA.
  • Team management  - Office Assistant and HR consultant

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree required
  • A minimum of 4 years of HR Generalist experience is required, with 3+ years of HRBP level experience working closely with executive leadership in a mid to late-stage startup.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully partner with business group leadership to develop and implement human resources strategies.
  • Experience working in companies with multiple geographical locations across the globe, possessing sound judgement and a strong business acumen.
  • Experience working with virtual teams.
  • Ability to manage complex organizational issues and multi-task effectively.
  • Stellar leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
