Job Description

Job context: 
In Q4 2020, UNLEASH completed a successful pivot from exhibitions to digital information and marketing services with the launch of www.unleashgroup.io. In 2021, our digital product serves to inspire and enable in-house HR and HR Technology professionals across the globe while also providing a route to market for HR Technology vendors seeking to engage this community through our advertising and marketing services. Beyond this year, our long-term ambition is to research and develop high-value digital subscriptions and online learning products that will align with our re-entry into what we are famous for – large scale events – as soon as it is safe to do so. 

Job purpose: 
To research, engage and recruit C-level HR, Learning and Recruitment professionals from the Fortune 2000 into the UNLEASH VIP Buyers Club. The VIP Buyers Club is built to inform, connect and empower these professionals to perform their roles better and optimise their career opportunities. 

Job role: 
The successful candidate will work with the sales, marketing, editorial and content labs team to identify and target C-level HR, Learning and Recruitment professionals to annual membership of the VIP Buyers Club. The club is designed to provide high-value information, networking and profile opportunities to this community in exchange for promoting UNLEASH’s products and services to their in-house teams for purchase and/or consumption.   

Qualifications

  • Direct sales and marketing experience in a B2B environment. 
     
  • Highly persuasive with strong communication skills.  
     
  • Audience and customer focussed, strategic thinker with at least 5 years’ experience in a commercial background. 
     
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communications skills with an ability to manage multiple stakeholders internally and externally. 
     
  • Prior experience in selling high-value membership or subscription products is desirable.  
     
  • Knowledge of the HR and HR Tech is preferable, but not essential. 

Additional Information

Key responsibilities: 

  • Research and develop a membership group of C-level HR, Learning and Recruitment professionals in the Fortune 5000 to engage.
     
  • Work with the editorial, marketing and content labs teams to create a complimentary suite of products and services from UNLEASH for our VIP Buyers Club members across digital and events.
     
  • Use tools such as ZoomInfo and Salesforce to identify and engage potential members and to track communications.
     
  • Approach potential members via in-bound and out-bound email, social activity, phone calls, meetings to pitch and convert to membership.
     
  • Keep database of communications up to date in Salesforce. 
     
  • Weekly reporting to the Marketing Director.
