At Nets, you’ll develop in a fast-growing fintech company in a high-paced, high-impact market. In this role you will be in the Product Management domain providing issuer services.  As a member of the data productivity leadership team, you will build and deliver impactful commercial and operational benefits, and impact significantly across a sophisticated and exciting business landscape. You will have high End-to-End exposure across product domains, high-level stakeholders, and the entire value chain.

The Head of Data and Insights will hold overarching responsibilities. She or he will drive and steer a wide range of data services manage a fast-growing department with multiple teams. Under her or his leadership, both new and existing data value propositions are delivered to our customers.

The position may require some travel between Nets offices in Germany, Italy, Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Croatia to meet with teams and/or business customer

Your key tasks and responsibilities are:

• Drive growth by creating new value-added data services through the smart use of digital tools, platforms, technologies, services, and processes. Maintaining and ensure scalability of the existing services and products.
• Lead the development efforts within the data science and business insights area in close collaboration with customer and sales organisation, manage the team and take responsibility for the design and end-to-end delivery of data-related solutions, and contribute to the group Data Strategy.
• Lead, manage, motivate, and grow the team of product owners, analysts, data engineers, and scientists. Help their career progression and development to unlock their potential and channel it to deliver impactful output.
• Build a strategic understanding of the needs of the clients and the internal businesses across the data space. Use advanced data analytics and ML techniques and approaches to solve business problems.
• Manage Budget and initiatives within the ongoing agenda and liaise with multiple stakeholders on ideation, assessment, and prioritization of new use cases

Your professional skills and experience form most of your qualifications, but it’s also your personality that makes the difference at Nets. 

Your qualifications include

• People management experience of leading, managing and scaling out a tech team within a corporate organization
• Experience in designing, managing, and delivering data solutions with a proven track record of managing end-to-end delivery from ideation to R&D to production with multiple stakeholders involved (managing timelines, development, deliverables, and expectations)
• Experience in managing senior stakeholders and communicating complex, technical information in an engaging way to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Quick learner who is proactive, result-oriented, highly analytical, and structured. Open to new ideas, approaches, challenges, and environments with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Good communication (both verbal and written) and visualization skills
• Technical understanding or enthusiasm in areas of BI, AI (Incl. Machine Learning), Reporting and visualisation, infrastructure, architecture, and governance, are appreciated
• Comfortable with ambiguity, can handle the unexpected with flexibility
• Agile working experience or mindset would be appreciated
• Fluent in English, additional languages are helpful (Preferably German, Croatian, Italian, and any Nordic languages)
