.NET Technical Lead

About the project

B4 is a web financial tool used by budget planners and the accounting department to help with the budgeting/forecasting process inside Ratiodata.

The old way of budgeting inside Ratiodata involves Excel sheets being sent back and forth between the persons involved, so B4 is a solution which offers them a centralized, easier and more transparent way of budgeting.

You will be part of a dedicated product team, all members capable of contributing not only technically, but also in terms of business and process proposals. The team is dedicated to co-create the product, by shaping also the requirements together with the client.

Your team

You will be joining a team currently comprised of 7 members (3 developers: 2 mid, 1 junior) covering roles such as Software Developer, Product Owner, UI/UX designer and Project Manager.

• Develop solution features following development best practices
• Develop integrations with external systems according to the defined architecture guidelines
• Perform unit testing and bug fixing
• Ensure non-functional requirements are implemented
• Identify risks, communicate them to the team and create contingency plans as soon as possible
• Analyze requested features from technical and functional points of view, as well as from integrating with different systems from the ecosystem of the customer
• Offer guidance and support to other colleagues via knowledge-transfer sessions, code review, technical documentation, private mentoring
• Support product management with consultative ideas and technical insight, to ensure a valuable outcome of the work artifacts
• Create and maintain technical documentation

• 5+ years of experience with .NET platforms: .NET Framework, .NET Core
• Entity Framework or other ORM framework
• Strong understanding of OOD and SOLID principles
• Strong experience in RESTful API design, develop & support and JSON API standard
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented concepts and design patterns
• Experience with Azure DevOps/Gitlab.
• Experience with messaging and streaming technologies such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc.
• Experience with Docker
• Experience working with SQL Server or PostgreSQL
• Experience with Angular 7+, HTML, JavaScript
• Familiar with testing frameworks and focused on delivering qualitative artifacts
• Able to apply best practices related to high maintainability, performance and scalability
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Great communication capacity
• Strong English knowledge
• Agile mindset
