Job Description

You will be part of a small team with ownership over the core components of Mandiant’s automated decision-making pipeline. The model building team is responsible for collaborating with and implementing the vision of our security research team. The team is responsible for services, which ingest and make decisions on security events. In addition to implementing new models, the team also works on improving existing production models in order to better protect our customers. The model building team is fundamental in Mandiant’s effort to relentlessly protect our customers with innovative technology and expertise.

What You'll Do:

  • Work closely with our security team, product managers, and customers to create and implement requirements based on their vision
  • Design, develop, and test code within our agile development framework
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to design a scalable, maintainable production architecture

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Experience coding in an industry-standard language especially JavaScript and/or Java

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with any of the following technologies: Node.js, Spring Framework, GraphQL, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Docker

Minimum Salary: $87,000. Final salary will be determined commensurately with cost of living, experience level, and/or any other legally permissible considerations.

Incentive Compensation: Eligibility for annual bonus subject to individual and company performance; eligibility for award of Restricted Stock Units subject to eligibility requirements, approval from FireEye’s Compensation Committee, and vesting terms
