Job Description

The DEI Community Program Manager will be a part of dentsu Americas DEI center of excellence. This position will coordinate events programs across the DEI communities, including talent development, Business Resource Groups (BRGs), within our Service Lines, and other DEI Champions. This role will be responsible for creating an integrated campaign planning approach and delivering DEI programming for dentsu Americas centrally. This person will report to the Director of Diversity and Inclusion.

You will:

  • Build strong relationships with BRG Leads, Service Line DEI Leads, Canada and Latin America Market DEI stakeholders, MarComms, and other critical stakeholders (including building consistency with a central BRG structure across that includes Canada and Latin America)
  • Engage with DEI Director and BRG leads to craft multi-year intersectional programming strategy anchored in a cohesive theme that connects to overall organizational DEI goals
  • Provide program and project management support for BRGs
  • Manage budgeting process and finance submissions for all programming
  • In conjunction with Marcomms team, establish process, timelines, and templates for program campaigns
  • Execute end-to-end program delivery, include planning, logistics, and communications
  • Partner with Service Line DEI Leads to adapt central DEI programming to align with Service Line
  • Support DEI Talent Development strategy by tracking high-performing/high-potential talent
  • Project management support for learning and development programs for diverse talent

Qualifications

You have:

  • A passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively toward mutual objectives
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, with proven success establishing collaborative relationships with individuals at all levels and in all parts of the organization
  • Excellent time management, project management, and organization skills
  • The ability to exercise judgment and commitment to confidentiality and discretion where appropriate, and appropriateness of company-sponsored events or conversations
  • Clear and precise oral and written communication skills
  • Comfortable working in an open, dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working within Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and/or program management
  • Minimum 5 years work experience
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or Associates degree or Program Certificate in a related field, along with at least one year of relevant work experience
