Miles Technologies is looking for a Website & Graphic Designer to bring creative energy to the design of our customers’ websites, brand assets such as logos and brochures, and other online marketing assets such as landing pages, infographics, and e-guides. Ultimately, you will make everything look great for our business customers. In this role, you will work as part of a dynamic team that possesses diverse skills across the various disciplines of digital marketing.

A TYPICAL DAY AS A MILES' WEBSITE & GRAPHIC DESIGNER:

• Daily collaboration with other caring, intelligent and talented team members in an Agile/SCRUM environment
• Design websites that represent the brand and fulfill the vision of our customers.
• Design website mockups and prototypes for all screen sizes that enable our customers and our digital marketing team to visualize the site prior to development.
• Design components of websites, such as forms, call-to-action buttons and navigation menus that foster user engagement and conversion optimization.
• Design branding assets such as logos as well as digital marketing assets like display ads and infographics.
• Utilization of WordPress, HTML, CSS as well as graphics tools in the Abode Creative Cloud, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Challenging yourself to learn new skills and advance your career within the work you do every day, through our Miles University program, collaboratively with mentors, pursuing self-study technical certifications, and many other opportunities.

REQUIREMENTS: 

• 2 years experience in website design.
• Passion for website design that is evident in the energy applied to producing high caliber work.
• Strength in creatively collaborating with fellow team members.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and complete by target dates while maintaining attention to detail.
• Online portfolio and/or provide samples of website design work you completed.


 

The ideal candidate will have experience with the following technologies: 

•  HTML5 & CSS
• Any coding platforms  such as Adobe Dreamweaver, Brackets, Sublime as well as CMS systems such as WordPress
• Adobe Creative Cloud, primarily Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
• Preferred skills include: animation software, Tailwind UI & CSS, PHP basics and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF Pro)
• The ideal candidate is always creative, innovative and original with a positive can-do attitude.
