You’ll be working for the customer who is a global technology enterprise in the area of mobile and connected devices. You will be involved from conception to completion with a project that is technologically sound and aesthetically impressive.

You’ll join our team of developers working in a scrum methodology and reporting to customer's PM.

Typical tasks list includes, but is not limited to:

• Build advanced applications for the Android platform
• Translate designs and wire-frames into high-quality code
• Ensure the high performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
• Identify the application bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Continuously discover and implement new technologies in the applications
• Work with everyone in the wider team: TPOs, Scrum Masters, test engineers, cloud developers, UX/UI designers and embedded software engineers

• 3+ years of experience in Android app
• Deep knowledge of Android development and Kotlin/Java language syntax
• Familiarity with Modern Android Development practices
• Extensive knowledge of Android design principles and Android SDK
• Fluency in English and the communication skills to effortlessly collaborate with engineering managers.
• Experience with cloud messaging APIs, background processing, offline storage, performance tuning, threading, caching, and performance optimization
• Experience working with third-party libraries and APIs
• Good understanding of the general mobile landscapes, trends, architectures, and emerging technologies
• Firm grasp of source control systems and best practices (Git, Merging, Branching, Pull Requests, etc.).
• Experience or knowledge of Wear OS would highly appreciated
