We would like to invite you to join a team of professionals working for CPU Software Design team of our customer who is a world leading semiconductor company based in the United Kingdom and with offices around the world.

You'll work in a complex, hybrid and lively environment. The work is based mainly on customer's in-house developed software. The software modules/libraries are in use for CPU cores in ISO26262 safety designs.

If you are an embedded developer with a some understanding of HW design/verification (eg understanding and reading Verilog, RTL/netlist debug in simulation) then this position maybe for you.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Design and verification of produced software,
• Adding tests for new features to the test suites.

The team works in team augmentation mode before moving to a deliverable-based engagement with an assigned Mobica PM.

Must have skills:

• Knowledge of C
• Assembler (ARM)
• Netlist/RTL simulation debugging experience
• Experience with RTOS (e.g. ThreadX, RTX, etc) integration.
• Experience with Verilog or VHDL - i.e. ability to understand the HDL

Nice to have skills:

• Scripting languages such as Bash, Python
• Awareness of Functional Safety standards like ISO26262, IEC61506
• Experience with MISRA 2012 standard
• Good understanding of various verification metrics like MC/DC, statement, branch coverage
• Knowledge of Verification Methodology plan considering unit level, integration level software verification techniques.
