Senior QA Engineer

About the project

We're looking for a QA Engineer with 4+ years of experience in manual testing, who also has a consultancy approach in terms of Testing Strategy, Release Plan, or any other improvements needed in the context of Quality Assurance.

The scope of the project is to provide an end-to-end solution for project managers and banking employees/hardware owners as end-users. The fresh and user-friendly application offers support in the planning and scheduling phase of devices rollout and asset check processes using both web and mobile platforms. For each of these processes, we have 2 views, one for the Project Manager and one for the end-user. The mobile application is built only for the end user’s view.

Your team

You will be part of a dedicated product team, all members capable of contributing not only technically, but also in terms of business and process proposals. The team is dedicated to co-create the product, by also shaping the requirements together with the client.

You will be replacing a senior QA engineer in an autonomous product team with the following structure:

• Senior Full Stack Software Engineer
• .Net Software Engineer
• Junior Software Engineer
• Partially allocated: Project delivery manager, Proxy Product Owner, and UX/UI designer

The team is having an Agile way of working, following the SCRUM methodology, with 3 weeks sprints and regular production releases.

Your role

• Understand the current software business process and technical capabilities
• Ownership on: feature validation, regression testing, exploratory, acceptance testing, release planning
• Ensure the high quality of the product
• Maintain documentation throughout the QA process
• Communicate with the functional & development team to provide a reliable, consistent, and positive end-user experience.
• Have a proactive approach and come up with recommendations based on your own experience

• 4+ years testing experience
• Experience with CI/CD processes/ tools, Git
• Testing strategy experience
• Release plan input
• Proactive attitude
• Good communication, adaptive and analytical skills

• Good communication skills in English, both speaking and writing
• Knowledge of Cypress, Selenium, or similar tools
