About the project

Our client is providing ERP solutions module based. The software covers initial clients that are satisfied with the solution and new clients that are looking for a more modern solution. The project will consist of an automatic tool for converting from the configuration files generated in the json format to the ExtJS pages in order to replace the old modules of the solution with a modern style approach.

Your team

In the first phase of the project, there will be a PoC created where there will be two senior colleagues involved. After this phase the team will extend to cover the business needs in both development, UI/UX area, and Scum Master as the delivery will take place in an agile way.

Your role

• Gain understanding of the client business needs from both functional and technical perspective
• Propose solutions that are compatible with existing architecture
• Develop features following the development best practices
• Perform code review for the other team members to ensure quality of the deliverables
• Provide technical guidance 
• Collaborate with colleagues from the other projects within the portfolio
• Raise technical risks and come up with mitigation proposals
• Analyze the non-functional requirements of the developed features and understand how the features fit in the customer's ecosystem
• Guide the client in taking the best technical decisions through practical POCs and well-structured argumentation

Providing technical guidance to the client, you will be a key member in contributing to the client's software modernization journey and building a trustful relation with the stakeholders.

• Minimum 5 years of experience working with Java 8+
• Extensive understanding of JPA, JAX-RS, Maven, Unit Tests frameworks
• Good knowledge of DDD Domain Driven Development  (Value Objects, Entities, Aggregates, Repositories, Services)
• Experience with PostgreSql
• Practical experience with Java 8 features, multithreading, code optimization, performance tuning, applying appropriate design patterns
• Practical experience with Java Jakarta EE Standard with microservices architecture
• Understanding Java memory management
• Extensive experience with file processing
• Hands on experience with microservices architecture 
• Good communication skills and experience working in distributed teams
• Analytical skills and solution-oriented mindset
• Team player
• Analyze project requirements and provide reliable solution for different components
• Continually assess the code and come up with improvement ideas and help to ensure that best practices are applied
