The Technical Consultant is the subject matter expert on the organization's eCommerce platforms and technologies and will translate business requirements from client stakeholders into technical documentation to be used by the wider Solution Delivery team. In addition, the ideal candidate will have a passion for Project Delivery and as a "Consultant" be willing to combine technical capabilities and excellent relationship-building skills to service our customer base. 

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and problem-solving skills, and a passion for applying their expertise to help companies take the next step in their digital transformation. They would also have a good practical knowledge of the Applications space, with a sound understanding of the SDLC.

The Responsibilities

• Facilitate discovery workshops
• Test and validates APIs before and during writing specifications
• Test APIs, review application code and DB scheme structure
• Contribute to the sign and development of a project plan for a technical stream of work including integrations, customizations, SIT, and migrations
• Understand commercial and profitability concepts
• Explain and articulate complex technical concepts and issues to clients in a simple, clear, and concise manner 
• Gather & Document Requirements
• Translate Business Requirements into User Stories
• Manage the delivery of projects alongside the Project Manager
• Analyze trade-offs between usability & performance
• Produce and prioritize test cases
• Conduct client training
• Plan and manage user acceptance testing
• Attend client meetings and lead the technical part of the conversation 

• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
• 5 years of relevant experience, writing technical specifications, API Integration documentation, Requirement Management Plan, Use Cases and User Stories, Business Requirements Document, RTM
• Previous experience as a Technical Lead, Technical Architect, or someone who comes from a solid Software Engineering background that has transitioned into Business Analysis, any type of solution experience highly advantageous
• Background as an Implementation Consultant or Software SME highly advantageous
• (Preferred) 4 years of relevant work experience, including experience researching and writing excellent documentation for developers (APIs, SDKs, web technologies)
• (Preferred) Relevant industry certification
• (Preferred) Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
