Job Description

Experian is looking for a Consultant Analyst to join our Delivery team in Sydney, within our Data Quality & Targeting division. You’ll be focused on our Data Quality Solutions, these include market leading data management solutions such as data validation, cleansing, single customer view technologies and often comprise a combination of our unique tech IP and professional consulting capabilities.

 

The Experian Data Quality & Targeting team solves a wide range of data and analytics problems for our customers. Consultant Analysts work to support our Presales Consultants to partner with our sales team to understand customer’s business models, challenges and strategies and to design solutions aligned to these. As a Consultant Analyst, you’ll use your requirements gathering ability, passion for data insights and using data to tell a story that supports business strategy, knowledge of analytics and/or technology, and industry expertise to help sell solutions that deliver results.

Our team’s goal is to deliver results for customers and build strong relationships in the process; we care about their success.

What you’ll need to bring to the party

  • 1-2 years’ experience consulting for either data quality, marketing or consumer related technology solutions in a commercial environment
  • An understanding of common corporate IT/analytics/marketing execution environments and platforms, off-line and digital
  • Excellent questioning and business analysis techniques in order to identify customer needs, design business processes and identify and track business and technical requirements.
  • Project management experience, particularly with projects involving both client and internal stakeholders

What you’ll be doing

  • You will work to calculate and clearly articulate projected ROI/business benefits of solutions to customers as well as clearly articulate designs and requirements to delivery & development teams.
  • You will work with users to formulate and document business requirements.
  • You will act as an internal liaison between sales, delivery and product teams and ensure the commercial and technical viability of client solutions.

 

Qualifications

More about you

  • Comfort juggling numerous priorities in a fast-paced working environment
  • Experience working with data and using data to tell a story that supports a business strategy
  • Proficiency in the application of Experian data, software and services would be an advantage, but not essential
  • This role would suit someone who has 1-2 years commercial experience and is looking eventually step into a consultant role
