Purpose of role

Responsible for partnering and coordinating with the Global Sales HR, Omni Sales Team and Store Management team on all HR initiatives in the areas of recruitment, onboarding, training and development, and employee relations including performance management, compensation, benefits, and policy. Area in this Role Description means both stores and offices in the market(s) you operate.

 

Responsibilities

Attract, Recruit and Introduce

·         Monitor and analyze your Areas future needs including staff rotation and expansion. You take actions and follow up to ensure all needs are consistently met.

·         You implement, facilitate and follow up quality recruitment processes and practices, on boarding routines, training processes and partners with ER Generalists on all ER, Benefits and Compensation related topics to Area. 

·         Coordinates recruitment overview with Global HR/Omni Sales Manager/

Area Manager/Store Managers.

·         Supports the Omni Sales/Area Team and Store Managers in ensuring they have knowledge of & Other Stories interview process and available tools needed to staff their Office/stores according to the ideal level set. Follow up on interview quality of leaders.

·         Works with the Omni Sales/Area Team and Store Manager(s) to ensure proper assessment of talent and secures the recruitment for shortages.

·         Upload, monitors, and updates Smart Recruiter at & Other Stories website and other advertising channels.

·         Supports and provides information to all leaders to ensure that all staff are trained per & Other Stories standards

·         Works with Global Sales HR in Employer Branding initiatives, developing and executing activities in order to enhance the local employer brand awareness and secure candidate inflow.

·         Monitors staff turnover and sickness levels, reporting back to Global Sales HR.

·         Together with your Omni Sales/Area Team and Store Managers you follow up and evaluate HR KPI´s and initiate actions accordingly to support the business.

 

Learn and Develop

·         Works with Global Sales HR and Omni Sales/Area team to ensure training plans and feedbacks are executed within expected timeframes.

·         Monitors the need of all store and ensure training plans are developed accordingly. Works close with Store Manager(s) and Global Sales HR to ensure quality training of all staff

·         Coordinates and plans workshop dates, trainers and trainees for all Area specific seminars.

·         Maintain overview of GROW system

·         Partners with Global Sales HR to coach and develop Omni Sales/Area Team and Store team members in succession and development planning.

·         Partners with Omni Sales/Area Team and Global Sales HR to ensure the developmental level of the employees within the area meet the current and will meet the future business need.

·         Analyzes relevant data such as exit interviews and surveys to assess opportunities for improvement in management development and workplace practices and creates relevant action plans for the area.

·         Keeps overview of the performance of staff with a focus on talents.

·         Together with your Omni Sales/Area Team and Store Managers you follow up and evaluate HR KPI´s and initiate actions accordingly to support your Area´s Sales & Profit results.

Attractive work environment

·         Coaches Omni Sales/Area Team and Store teams on how to prevent employee relations problems from occurring and how to manage them if they arise.

·         Counsels Omni Sales/Area Team and Stores and partners with ER Generalists and Global Sales HR on corrective action matters including approval of termination decisions and any benefits or compensation issues

·         Keeps up to date with changes in state or municipal employment regulations for the stores they support

·         Partners with Benefits, Compensation and ER team to oversee and administers local reward initiatives such as bonus payments, wage adjustments, performance review increases, Leaves of Absences, etc.

·         Partners with ER Generalists in responding to third-party cases such as litigation, unemployment insurance, worker’s comp, etc.

·         Analyse the HR KPI´s and initiate action to ensure a fair working environment.

Qualifications

·         Ability to deal with sensitive and confidential information.

·         Proven organizational, analytical, problem solving, taking own initiative and decision-making skills.

·         Ability to follow up, question decisions and provide feedback in a constructive way with all levels of management

·         Flexibility and willingness to adapt to change.

·         Ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.

·         Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.

·         Experienced with recruitment & training processes?

·         Ability to travel at least 50%-70% of time if needed area wide, including overnight stays
