The Training Program Oversight Consultant - GSSC shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years, Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; and proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and related tools and technology required for the position.

The Training Program Oversight Consultant shall possess the following minimum qualifications:
--- Senior professional with experience in operational readiness reviews, plant testing, turnover and plant operations, and performing surveillances with respect to verifying contract specifications.
--- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in a related field to include, for example, education; engineering, safety; business administration or quality.
--- 15 years’ experience in nuclear facility operations.
--- 15 years’ experience working with contractor assurance systems. Experience in effective implementation of assessment performance, issues management and corrective action development and review activities is preferred.
--- Demonstrated expertise in performing causal analysis.
--- Demonstrated experience in working with information management systems, activities, and related software. Experience with DevonWay and/or the Hanford Site integrated Contractor Assurance System, is preferred.
--- Demonstrated ability to identify issues impacting operations, with a keen sensitivity to identifying programmatic issues, negative trends, and repetitive issues.
--- Demonstrated ability to develop and present training and briefing material.
--- Ability to work simultaneously and in a collaborative manner at all levels of the DOE Hanford and contractor organizational structures.
--- Identification of any conflicts, potential conflicts, or perceived conflicts of interest with any Hanford Site contractors.
--- Excellent written and verbal communications skills. Demonstrated ability to professionally and effectively interface and interact with contractor workforce, contractor management, government officials and senior level managers.
--- Working level knowledge of the following: DOE O 422.1 Conduct of Operations; DOE O 226.1B Implementation of Department of Energy Oversight Policy; DOE O 414.1D Quality Assurance.
--- Familiarity with the following: DOE O 426.2 Personnel Selection, Training, Qualification, and Certification Requirements for DOE Nuclear Facilities; DOE-STD-1070-94 Guidelines for Evaluation of Nuclear Facility Training Programs.
TRAVEL: Occasional travel may be required to attend meetings, events, site visits, or other training requirements. Travel is coordinated with the technical point of contact and approved in writing by the Contracting Officer in advance, is allowed, in accordance with Federal Travel Regulations.
LOCATION: Work shall be conducted at or in proximity to The Hanford Eastern Washington (Tri-Cities - Kennewick | Pasco | Richland) Area.
