Your Career
The goal of the Executive Engagement team is to provide a “differentiated” customer experience that will support Palo Alto Networks sales and marketing efforts as it continues to be the fastest growing IT security company in the market. This role reports to the Sr. Director of Executive Operations, and is responsible for the management and delivery of our Executive Engagement programs.
Because this role is highly visible and involves interactions with prospects, customers, and partners, this individual must demonstrate an elevated level of professionalism on a daily basis. The role requires that this individual be knowledgeable and confident when interacting with executives. This individual must be able to work well in a small team environment and cross-functionally across the company, have high energy level, a positive attitude, strong work ethic and ability to quickly build rapport and trust with internal and external clients.
Your Impact
Manage the Executive Engagement Program, focused on our most strategic customers and prospects
Serve as Liaison to our C-Suite and Sales Leadership teams
Build relationships with internal Executive Sponsors
Identify appropriate and timely opportunities for Engagement
Leverage consultative skills to assist sales teams, partners and other meeting stakeholders in aligning objectives with those of the customer
Make engagement request decisions based on a high-level understanding of the cybersecurity industry and Palo Alto Networks key strategies and product offerings
Clearly articulate engagement objectives to executives, ensuring that resources are utilized effectively and meeting participants are properly prepared for each customer interaction
Coordinate all aspects of engagement activity with internal and external clients. Handle urgent requests and agenda changes with positive attitude and calm demeanor
Collaborate with others across the company and work independently to resolve issues and achieve results
Follow industry best practices by utilizing systems and processes that increase operational efficiencies
Your Experience
Project Management - 8 - 10 years of experience
Have experience supporting enterprise-level accounts and partner/channel sales activities
Possess a clear understanding of the sales cycle and the potential impact of executive engagement on sales effectiveness
Have a high-level understanding of product and sales strategy, as well as an ability/commitment to learn and apply knowledge to enhance customer experience
Have ability to manage multiple types of projects and programs independently including, managing our engagement process
Have excellent time-management, prioritization and problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task with sense of urgency to meet tight timelines in a daily fast-paced environment
Have experience with managing projects and automation systems
Tools and Reporting
Have experience implementing and using a scheduling and other software tools e.g. Briefing Source, Google’s GSuite
Experience with SFDC to track engagement impact, pull reports and interpret data into actionable program design
Communication
Have ability to effectively interface with internal and external executive customers and stakeholders
Must be able to build strong relationships with individuals and teams within Palo Alto Networks
Have excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Customer Experience
Demonstrate deep attention to all details of the customer experience
Have a detailed focus on deliverables and continually monitor and evaluate quality of the engagement experience
Possess a customer-centric approach to dealing with internal and external clients
Must have had international exposure and understanding of proper business meeting etiquette.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree required, MA or MS preferred
Meeting planning and project management experience
