What You’ll Do

As a Brand Safety Specialist, you will be a part of a global, cross-functional team working closely with Product, Marketing/Comms, Sales, Policy Operations, Public Policy, and Trust and Safety to improve Twitter’s brand safety perception among advertisers.

In this role, you will operate as a subject matter expert on Twitter’s brand safety efforts, as well as Twitter’s company-level Health work. You will be responsible for ensuring that our customers, industry groups, and internal sales teams understand Twitter’s health and safety work and that their feedback related to relevant policies and revenue products is heard.

You will play a key role in shaping Twitter’s brand safety strategy overall. You will partner with key stakeholders across the business to drive initiatives, escalate advertiser feedback, help to lead new GA product launches in the market, report on industry trends, identify areas of product and policy differentiation, attend strategic internal or external sales meetings, lead internal and external training sessions, and educate the sales team on positioning and objection handling in your market.

Responsibilities:

  • Confidently present trust, safety, policy, and health solutions to large groups, as well as senior leaders, internally and externally.

  • Deliver value to Twitter Sales teams via strong analytical abilities, communication skills and subject matter expertise of brand safety.

  • Develop and retain a strong working knowledge and perspective on the latest brand safety industry trends and proactively share competitive knowledge with XFN partners

  • Understand and evolve how to position Twitter's approach to integrity and health in unique and powerful ways in narratives and sales pitches given marketplace shifts and nuances

  • Partner closely with Product and Policy (incl Ops & Marketing) teams to drive successful GTM strategies through consistent loop of client feedback, product positioning, and sales education.

  • Collaborate with wider stakeholders including Business Marketing, Marketing Insights & Analytics, Trust & Safety, & Sales to drive local growth projects. 

  • Resolve brand safety issues moderate to complex in scope in a timely and productive manner, and proactively identify and implement process improvements.

Qualifications

  • BA/BSc degree (In lieu of degree, 4 years relevant experience)

  • 4-6+ years of related experience in the digital or media industry, ideally with at least 2+ years dedicated to brand safety, policy, or platform integrity

  • Experienced problem solver adept at crisis management

  • Motivated team player who consistently strives to exceed goals and expectations with a relentlessly positive attitude and incredible work ethic

  • Ability to think creatively and critically and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous work environment

  • Excellent communication and listening skills, attention to detail, and a bias for proactively resolving issues
