· Receives assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet objectives
· Provides guidance to subordinates to achieve goals in accordance with established policies. Responsible for evaluating and managing employee performance and development, as well as hiring and termination decisions.
· Work is reviewed and measured based on meeting objectives and schedules
· Establishes and recommends changes to policies which affects subordinate organization(s)
· Develops and administers budgets, schedules, and performance requirements
· Manages through subordinate employees and supervisors
· Responsible for the coordination of activities of a section or department with responsibility for results in term of costs, methods and employees.
· BA/BS or equivalent experience
· 4-7 years functional experience in healthcare
· 3-5 years supervisory experience
· Project Management Professional (PMP) certification in Project Management from the Project Management Institute
· Masters' Degree preferred
· CRCR preferred
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Strong knowledge/ability with:
o Project management methodology and tools
o Technology, systems and process related to healthcare project management
o Project management and organizational skills
Problem solving and analytical skills
Negotiation and conflict management skills
o People management and leadership skills
· Ability to travel
