Job Description

We’re seeking a passionate postgraduate to join us on a 12-month contract as a Market Analyst within our Sales & Marketing Function here at Moneybarn.

As a Market Analyst, you will play a key role to support commercial decisions working collaboratively alongside other members of the Sales and Marketing team and the Management in the development and ongoing reporting of market KPIs and trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To support the assessment of the current market by detailed analysis and reporting.
  • Calculation, reporting and analysis of product and channel potential.
  • Develop and maintain a UK vehicle parc model to provide insight for product development and targeting.
  • Production of month end sales analysis, highlighting key trends & risks to the Commercial Director.
  • Provide analytical support for new product proposals.
  • Provide analysis of monthly sales performance considering potential impacts achievement of annual plan.
  • Ad hoc technical support for other key projects.
  • Identify and monitor emerging issues and trends communicating effectively with the affected managers.
  • Be committed to quality and professional customer service to ensure individual performance and business results are maximised.
  • Work as part of a team - supporting and assisting colleagues as required.
  • Support the strategic planning & budgeting process.
  • Seek to drive continuous improvement of processes and procedures.

Qualifications

Knowledge & experience you will have:

  • Experience in the production, analysis, and presentation of relevant information & reporting.
  • Ability to clearly explain outputs to all stakeholders in a manner that is easy for them to understand.
  • Advanced Excel skills with experience of data and system analysis including the generation of reports
  • Excellent organising/planning skills with the ability to coordinate and manage multi-task projects. and organise workloads in a structured and logical way, working to tight deadlines.
  • Able to manage stakeholders' needs and expectations and use influencing and negotiation skills, where required.
  • Able to seek out and implement innovative ways of enhancing the models used.
  • Ability to ‘think outside of the box’.
