GetMyUni is a Times Internet-backed ed-tech startup disrupting the college admissions space in India. We are a social college search platform which empowers students with making the most important decision of their life - which college to join by giving them access to exhaustive college information, data points, a student is given ratings, reviews, forums, and a student connect platform.

GMU IELTS is a division of GetMyUni that enables IELTS test-takers to learn online via video courses, one to one live sessions and practice for the exam via mock tests. GMU IELTS also offers test-takers with a lot of resources from their website and e-books containing the recent actual questions and answers of the IELTS exam.

         Description :

• We are currently looking for Frontend Developer with 3+ years of experience.
• Skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, Ajax

         Responsibilities and Duties :

• Part of the technology team at GetMyUni with direct reporting to founding team members
• High degree of responsibility with module-level ownership
• Ability to estimate, architect and build complex solutions
• The ability to work in a highly dynamic, entrepreneurial environment with quick turnaround.
• Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications :
• Must have hands on experience with PSD/AI/JPG/PNG or other design files to HTML5/CSS3.
• Must have hands on experience with frameworks like bootstrap,responsive structure and best practices.
• Must know about W3C and Google developer tool compliant code.
• Optimize the page for various search engines by following standard SEO guidelines
• Test and optimize the page for performance specially using Google page speed and ySlow
• Must have proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
• Expert in HTML5, JavaScript and/or ES6, Jquery
• Experience in AJAX and JSON
• Experience in Version Control System (GIT)
• Knowledge of DOM manipulation on different browsers.
• Develop screen interactions, carousel, photo gallery, form validations using custom/existing Javascript/jQuery libraries or customize them.
• Develop Emailers for different email Clients/Browsers and devices
• Work closely with design and backend team to seamlessly integrate a pixel  perfect interface with backend code (PHP or any other language /framework)
• Chrome developer tool
• Must be comfortable both working within an existing code base and writing code from scratch.
• Should have excellent problem solving, design and debugging skills.
• Keen to learn new things.
• Wordpress/React/Angular/Vue Js knowledge is a plus.
