Our Smart/Agile working project is a project that is sponsored by our CEO to ensure our business is fit for purpose in a changing world, today but also in the future. We, as a business, recognise that how we work and how our customers want us to work is changing. We need to ensure our process, how we look after our people and how we do business evolve with those changes. Smart/Agile working is key in this, looking at our people, our IT/Technology and our facilities to ensure we are fit for purpose, improving our customer and employee experience, reducing cost and enabling us for business readiness.
As our project lead, you will take this project from where it is today to the next phase where we start to pilot new ways of working and processes that will lead us into full implementation which we anticipate will last for the next 18 months – 2yrs. This role will take over from an internal secondment who has led the project up to now and will drive it forward into the next phases.

As an experienced project lead, you will have a proven background in project delivery, ideally within the Business Transformation space. You will be able to liaise with all levels across the business, be an analytical thinker and use data to back and challenge the business. You will have exceptional stakeholder management and leadership skills, able to influence and inspire as well as being passionate about business change, Agile working process and forward thinking with an open mindset in how business will look, operate and feel in the future.

Due to the nature of our business, all employment is subject to satisfactory references being obtained, attainment of either a SC (Security Check), Disclosure Scotland Criminal Record Check or Foreign Police Check (whichever is applicable depending on duration of UK residency) and, as applicable, a medical assessment. Access to US technical data by employees requires prior Trade Control function approval. Clearance must be carried out against all applicable US export control authorisations.
