Cyber Security Analyst - Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne or Sydney

As we continue to evolve and transform, we have a new opportunity for a Cyber Security Analyst to join our Cyber Security Team, where you will focus on detection and monitoring of Toll’s environment to defend us from any active attack.

You will play a critical role, providing second line of defence in Security Operations, working hand in hand with the Red Team operations, ensuring Toll has robust threat detection and defence capabilities.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Analysis of security events and response
• Identify, analyse and manage cyber security events and incidents
• Help develop maturity of the Security Operations (internal and external)
• Collaborate with the Red and Blue team in identification, investigation, response, and remediation of security events
• Assist in the development of SOC processes and procedure documents
• Support the development and effectiveness of security tools and processes
• Deliver defined KPI/KRIs
• Support Threat Defence Manager with identifying risks and vulnerabilities in IT/OT environment

To be successful you will have:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Cyber Security Specialists/Expert in Red Team operations/threat hunting, log analytics, SIEM and threat detection.
• Experience in performing Red, Blue, or Purple Team operations
• Experience using the MITRE ATT&CK framework
• Proficient using security tools: Crowdstrike/Splunk
• In-depth understanding and experience on Cyber Risk Management
• Strong knowledge and experience in using ISO 27000 series or NIST Cyber Security Framework or ISM
• Knowledge across network infrastructure, applications, databases, code review, cloud infrastructure, mobile devices, and IoT
• Incident management and response experience
• Knowledge of Operational Technology (SCADA, PLCs) is advantageous
• Scripting (PowerShell, Python) background is advantageous
• Experience working in the government sector, highly advantageous
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, business, or a related discipline
