Job Description

We are looking for a talented video editor to assemble recorded footage and/or photographs into a finished project that matches our brand for an assortment of recruitment, training, and marketing campaigns.

You will be working remotely. 

Responsibilities

  • Community Volunteer Training for an understanding of our policies and procedures.
  • Manipulating film and video footage using modern editing techniques.
  • Maintaining continuity while moving shots according to scene value.
  • Trim footage segments and put them together for an engaging piece.
  • Input music, video captions, and graphics.
  • Inserting dialog, sound effects, music, graphics, and special effects.
  • Ability to convert the video into a square format for other social media channels.
  • Biweekly/Monthly Update Meetings with Communications Coordinator.

Qualifications

Applicant must be between the maximum age limit of 28 years.

Must-haves:

  • Previous work experience as a video editor.
  • Hands-on experience with editing software, including Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro X, Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, and Premier OR any other feasible service/software.
  • Creative and artistic skills.
  • Familiarity with 3D composition and special effects.
  • Strong time-management, organizational, and internet research skills a must.
  • Creative mind and storytelling skills.

Pluses:

  • Educational background in film studies, cinematography, or related field.
