Java developer

We are looking for a Java developer with several years of commercial Java development experience. 

As a Java Developer you will join a team with responsibilities for supporting, maintaining and enhancing a suite of applications that support the Group Technology Sourcing, and Services sides of the business.  Primarily the work focusses on a well-established B2B web shop and associated quote and order management tools.  As time progresses focus will be on building the next generation of applications to support the business.

Essential Skills

•             Java developer with 4+ years’ experience.

•             Spring Framework including Spring Boot

•             JPA/Hibernate

•             Building and consuming REST services

•             Familiarity with relational databases and SQL

Desirable Skills

•             Git SCM

•             JSP development experience

•             HTML and CSS knowledge.

•             JavaScript

Nice to Have Skills

•             Angular 2+ experience.

•             Node.js

•             WebLogic

•             Tomcat
