What we're looking for

Sutra, a rapidly growing seed-stage company, is seeking a talented individual who can help us scale our sales team—and help us dominate our space! We are looking for someone who can lead our awesome sales team, scale revenue, and build high growth sales foundations at a great company.

The Role

  • In partnership with company’s founders, develop the sales strategies and tactics necessary to achieve revenue goals
  • Establish repeatable process and sales methodology
  • Identify, implement, and optimize the necessary sales tech stack
  • Test and uncover strategies that accelerate and expand revenue
  • Create sales playbook of best practices to ensure rapid onboarding and execution
  • Recruit, train, and lead a team of sales professionals spanning from enterprise to SMB to SDRs; develop an impactful sales culture that values individual initiative while encouraging mutual support
  • Work with Marketing team to scale our GTM engine
  • Work with our marketing team to create valuable sales collateral
  • Partner with the product and engineering teams to provide customer feedback and optimize product roadmap
  • Develop and manage the sales department budget, targets, quotas, and commissions
  • Utilize a data-driven approach to optimize forecasting
  • This person will manage a team, but will also be an individual contributor. Helping to close deals. All. Damn. Day.

The You

  • If you don't already have the expertise, a willingness to gain a thorough understanding of the fitness landscape and become a go-to person for and what’s happening in the industry
  • You demonstrate exceptional analytical acumen and have a proven track record of producing data-driven insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • You love problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. You thrive collaborating with others to solve challenging problems and iterate quickly to a solution. You are an ambitious self-starter eager to build something from the ground up.
  • You have a hands-on mentality and a "no task is too big or too small" attitude.
  • You are someone that can be both strategic and tactical. You can easily move between the big picture and on the ground execution.

Background + Experience

  • 5-7+ years of sales team leadership
  • Experience leading a B2B SaaS company sales team
  • Strong examples of building and training sales teams
  • Excitement to work at an early-stage, high-growth company is preferred
  • Familiarity using modern CRM and marketing automation software and other sales software platforms.
