Technical Project Manager - Web and Mobile Applications

We love our work and our clients.  We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Web and Mobile Apps Project Manager, who is curious, committed, and proactive, to join our team.

• At Visus, a project manager leads and manages web and mobile development projects for multiple clients from beginning to end. 
• The projects we work on vary making our work exciting.  (See some of our success stories on our website.)
• You will be responsible for the success of your assigned projects through the software development lifecycle. 
• You will work with our internal team and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and with high quality to meet or exceed our clients’ expectations. 
• You will work with clients to gather requirements and use your experience to provide some high level options to consider.  If you’ve been a developer or business analyst, in the past, to help shape solutions for web or mobile applications, you will enjoy this role.

Responsibilities: 

• Manage project timelines, budget, and status
• Lead client status and requirements gathering meetings
• Manage communications with our clients and liaise with internal team
• Manage boards and tickets in Jira
• Ensure quality deliverables are produced
• Review developer estimates and help create proposals. 
• Create project plans and schedules.
• Resource planning

Requirements: 

• 2.5+ years of experience and demonstrated success in managing multiple projects for a development company or agency.
• Understanding the fundamentals of web and mobile applications.  Software development background is a big plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to manage multiple projects 
• Experience with Jira or Kanban boards for sprint planning
• Ability to create project plans in MS Project a plus
• Team player with a great attitude and friendly disposition.

This is a full-time position.  Work is conducted during Pacific Standard business hours (8:30 AM PST - 5:30 PM PST).
